H07V2-R Electrical Cable for Residential and Commercial Buildings
Cable Construction
Live: Copper, annealed according to EN 60228:
Class 2 H07V2-R
Insulation: PVC type TI 3 according to EN 50363-3
Insulation color: green-yellow, blue, black, brown, gray, orange, pink, red, turquoise, purple, white
Conductor material: Usually solid or stranded annealed copper, following DIN VDE 0281-3, HD 21.3 S3, and IEC 60227-3 standards.
Insulation material: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is used as the insulation material, type TI3, to ensure good electrical isolation performance.
Rated voltage: Generally 450/750V, able to withstand the voltage requirements of conventional power transmission.
Temperature range: The rated operating temperature is usually 70℃, suitable for most indoor environments.
Color coding: The core color follows the VDE-0293 standard for easy identification and installation.
Characteristics
Maximum temperature of the core during cable operation: +90°C
The minimum ambient temperature when laying cables: -5°C
The minimum ambient temperature for permanently laid cables: -30°C
Maximum core temperature during short circuit: +160°C
Test voltage: 2500V
Reaction to fire:
Resistance to flame spread: IEC 60332-1-2
CPR – reaction to fire class (according to EN 50575): Eca
Complies with: PN-EN 50525-2-31, BS EN 50525-2-31
Features
Flexibility: Although H07V2-U is less flexible than H07V2-R, R-type cable still maintains a certain degree of flexibility and is suitable for applications that require a certain degree of bending.
Chemical resistance: It has good chemical stability and can resist acids, alkalis, oils and flames, and is suitable for use in environments with chemicals or high temperatures.
Safety compliance: It complies with environmental protection and safety standards such as CE and ROHS to ensure safe use and no harmful substances.
Installation flexibility: It is suitable for a variety of installation environments, but it is not recommended for use in cable racks, channels or water tanks, and is more suitable for fixed wiring.
Application scenarios
Fixed wiring: H07V2-R power cords are often used for fixed wiring inside buildings, such as electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings.
Electrical equipment connection: It is suitable for connecting various electrical equipment, including but not limited to lighting systems, household appliances, small motors and control equipment.
Industrial application: In industrial environments, due to its heat resistance and chemical stability, it can be used for internal wiring of machines, switch cabinets, motor connections, etc.
Heating and lighting equipment: Due to its temperature resistance, it is suitable for internal wiring of lighting and heating equipment that requires higher temperature tolerance.
